Wolf Titanium Leathers Review

Wolf Titanium Front

Wolf has long held it's place among the top motorbike leather manufacturers with their short but sweet range of leathers that mix both top quality materials, and styling that will get anyone's juices flowing, and it seems in the case of the Wolf Titanium suit this winning formula has been followed once more.

Let's start then with the main construction of the suit. When donning the Wolf Titanium suit you are covered in Brazilian drum dried cow hide (1.1 - 1.3mm) as you will find with a lot of the top level motorcycle leathers, meaning you have one of the most abrasion resistant materials found in a motorcycle suit. That's got to be a plus right?

The Wolf Titanium suit is double stitched all over except for the main impact areas where you will find triple stitching. This way you can sleep easy knowing that in the event of an off your suit is going to stay intact if you attend an appointment with the road.

When you wear the suit you notice the care that has been taken to make sure you are as comfortable as possible. I've worn suits in the past that dig-in in certain areas once you climb aboard your steed, but the Wolf Titanium suit has a tailored sports cut which seems to take into account what position you are likely to be in when riding, that way you are less likely to get off your machine at the other end with chafing marks.

Wolf Titanium Back

Shoulder, elbow and knee protection on the Wolf Titanium suit comes in the way of Evolution Bioelastan armour (CE approved of course) and there is a mini sports style race hump on the back which will save you 0.001 seconds on Rivett straight at Snetterton, but more importantly it adds a little protection to the nape of your spine from any nasty knocks.

Fastening comes in the form of Max zips with the arm and leg zips being lockable, not that I've ever had a zip come undone during a ride in any other leathers, but I suppose it's something else to hold them intact if you end up coming off. Other handy features in the Wolf Titanium are the Keprotect Kevlar stretch panels, adding both comfort points for moving around, but also a little cooling on those hotter days. You also get Alcantara race style collars and cuffs and some racing compound knee sliders thrown in too.

I'm not going to say this suit is a bargain at £449 RRP but you certainly do get what you pay for. So if you're after a well made, good looking, and reasonably priced set of race leathers, the Wolf Titanium suit is a very good choice indeed.
