RST Leathers - The Current Range
RST are among the best motorcycle leathers manufactures in the world, but the difference in the way they do things to other manufacturers like Dianese, Alpinestars and Arlen Ness, is that RST leathers offer superb value for money. You still get most of the fancy features seen from top level manufacturers, but you get them for a lot less money, not only that but they look damn good too. So let’s take a look at the current crop of RST leathers and see what's what.
RST Pro Series
The Pro Series suit is top of the tree in the RST leathers range, and as such it has a price to justify that. The suit’s RRP is around £499, but when you consider other suits can cost nearly double that it’s not so bad. The Pro Series suit is geared more towards racers with all the bells and whistles to match, and when RST can boast names like Andrew Pitt, Chris Walker and Hudson Kennaugh that wear the Pro Series suit, that’s got to be saying something. RST Tractech
Next in line in the RST range is the Tractech, which retails at around £399. It is slightly more versatile than the Pro Series and although it would be more than capable on any track day, RST had comfort in mind when designing this suit as it has features that aid movement and generally make it easier to wear for longer periods. The Tractech line comes in both a one piece suit, but also it is available in a separate jacket and jeans combination. Click here to read our review of the Tractech line.

RST Shadow
This is very much the budget option at a RRP of £329.99 and it is the cheapest one piece suit in the RST range. It is a very close cousin to the Tractech above, yet it does not come with some of the extra features like an aerodynamic race hump or Contour Plus armour, nor can it be purchased as a jacket and jean combo. However, if you’re after excellent value for money you can’t go wrong with the RST Shadow. Click here to read our review of the Shadow

RST Razor (Jacket & Jeans)
In terms of specs the Razor is identical to the Tractech, but you cannot buy the Razor as a one piece suit, only in a separate jacket and jeans combo. The only difference of the Razor is in the design, and it still offers the same high end protection as the Tractech line, as well as the rest of the RST leathers range.

RST Stunt (Jacket & Jeans)
The Stunt is simply an affordable leather jacket that looks great. It doesn’t have all the fancy features of some of the higher end lines, but from a basics point of view it offers all the protection you would expect to need as a road rider. You can also buy the matching jeans for the Stunt jacket which are equally of great quality.

RST Fusion
We are slowly seeing the Fusion lines become discontinued and you can only now buy it as a two piece suit combination. We believe the Tractech suit to be the replacement for the Fusion as the price points on entry are very much the same, as is the feature list. At the time of writing you can still pick yourself up a Fusion suit and usually at a lower price than most in the RST leathers range. Click here to see our review of the Fusion suit.
