Draggin Jeans - Casual motorcycle-wear made safe.
Draggin Jeans have been around since 1997 and is the first and only casual motorbike brand that has ever successfully passed CE tests for resistance against tears, abrasions and bursts. They've become a world wild success as a brand with some fantastic looking gear, so lets see what all this fuss is about.

It is the lining in Draggin Jeans that makes them so good in terms of abrasion resistance. Over the years they have come on leaps and bounds with their fibre technology and it proves to be quite a revolutionary step. The core of Draggin Jeans is a combination of Kevlar and Dyneema (strongest fibre in the world) that go together to create the perfect material that is both durable, and comfortable. Another benefit of having Dyneema in the mix is that it has a strength to weight ratio that is second to none, meaning wearing a pair of Draggin Jeans is comparable to wearing a pair of standard jeans you can buy from a retail clothes store.
So we know what makes a pair of Draggin Jeans so safe, but what other features could there be that have brought the company international success?
The inner lining to the jeans is constructed in such a way that allows heat to be dissipated and not retained, but also the fibrous nature of the material allows air to pass through, meaning you won't have to deal with that clammy feeling that you often get when wearing a pair of leather motorbike trousers.
Draggin Jeans contain safety stitching built into the seams from when they are originally manufactured, this is so that the main Kelvar patches do not move or slip out of their intended position during use.

There's also little things that make you realise you are buying a quality piece of kit, a piece of kit that has had some thought go into it, when you notice the coin pockets are cut larger so that you can fit a gloved hand in, not only that but the fact the larger pocket is on the left hand side so the throttle need not ever be closed makes you think, nice one!
I suppose it's also worth mentioning that Draggin Jeans are completely machine washable with no special upkeep needed, but we all know us roughty toughty dirty bikers wash our gear about once every decade, so this only really counts for a couple of brownie points I suppose.
There's only one bad point to mention, and that's the fact that the majority of the Draggin Jeans range don't come with proper knee protection as you would find in most sports style leathers to protect against hard knocks, but there are top of the range jeans that do come with hip and knee protection, but they are a little pricier.
Having been through all that it's easy to see why the Draggin Jeans name has come so far and with their perfect mix of safety and style, it makes an excellent choice of motorcycle attire.
